AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES OF THE CITY OF HATTIESBURG, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE ANNUALLY AN AMOUNT OF MONEY NOT TO EXCEED $24,000.00 PER CALENDAR YEAR TO THE HATTIESBURG DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION, INC.; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The governing authorities of the City of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, are authorized, in their discretion, to contribute annually an amount not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Dollars ($24,000.00) per calendar year, from any available funds, to the Hattiesburg Downtown Association, Inc.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
